About this event

Join us for the second session of the 2022-2023 CJiP series, titled "Supporting Indigenous Peoples in Canadian Courts". We will be joined by Amanda Trites, Program Coordinator for The Healing of the Seven Generations organization.

As a Program Coordinator and with The Healing of the Seven Generations organization, Amanda will share her experiences in her current role supporting Indigenous accused as they navigate the court system, as well as experiences as an Indigenous Support Clerk. Join us in learning how the Gladue principles are being implemented — or not — in Ontario courtrooms.
